Frequently Asked Questions

Cosmetic dentistry focuses on improving the appearance of your teeth, gums, and smile. Popular treatments include teeth whitening, veneers, dental bonding, and orthodontics.

Anyone looking to enhance their smile and address concerns like stained, chipped, misaligned, or uneven teeth can benefit from cosmetic dentistry. A consultation with your dentist will help determine the best treatment for you.

The longevity of cosmetic treatments depends on the procedure and aftercare. For example, teeth whitening may last 6 months to 2 years, while veneers and crowns can last 10–15 years with proper care.

Most cosmetic dental procedures are minimally invasive and involve little to no discomfort. Your dentist may use local anaesthesia or sedation for more extensive treatments to ensure a comfortable experience.

Cosmetic dentistry is generally considered elective and not covered by insurance. However, some procedures that improve oral health, like crowns or orthodontics, may have partial coverage.
